What drives all the things we do
Empowering Response EAC (EREAC) aims to contribute to finding sustainable solutions to the challenges of poverty populations of the countries of the East African Community (EAC) of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). We help local communities, especially the poor, to strengthen their decision-making powers, and their ability to find local solutions by changing attitudes. In each country of operation, the National Organization is a member of ERAEC and implemented in this mission.
We attach particular importance to the values that should guide us as members of the organization and its staff.
These values are the foundation of foundations of our organizational culture to the point of shaping behavior and habits of members and staff of the organization.
Our leadership style
Among many types of leadership in vogue today to lead organizations or not-for-profit, we preferred to align with transformational leadership principles characterized by the emergence of inspired leaders, motivated at all levels of decision making. the goal of transformational leadership is to transform organizations and their members in the way of thinking and behaving. This type of leadership reinforces the vision, clarifies the mission, accommodates attitudes of the principles with the values and principles of the organization.
It creates a real relationship of trust between the leaders and other members of the organization. The change it brings is permanent, constantly evolving and highly constructive. In application of transformational leadership principles, the leaders of our organization at all levels must be open to change; to new ideas and resources must be constantly. They must know to communicate the vision with passion, engage others by creating confidence and enthusiasm to be an active member of the organization.
