Empowering Response East Africa (EREAC) is a regional NGO with its mission to contribute to finding lasting solutions to the challenges of hunger, poverty and ignorence in East Africa Community Partner States and DRC- South KIVU from the existing
socio-economic potential.
WHERE WE WORK
Before EREAC started, it was one NGO called “Empowering Response Burundi” which is 14 years old working to alleviate poverty in Burundi. In 2016, ERB launched a regional network which is EREAC (Empowering Response East Africa Community) to share the same goals and the same vision.

Ereac board members from Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Poland and Belgium gathered at Serena Hotel-Kigali on 14-15 June to discuss and approve policies and strategic documents of EREAC.
